#1

Post by Harmonious »

A test of 15s frames at enough gain so that the first frame was good enough to get attention. Last object in a series of targets in the range of 5 to 15 min per target. No flats or darks.

M 20 Gain=323 Exposure=15 Stacked Frames=54, Dithered.

Successful test!

You have collected a good amount of data with very small integration. Nice image!

Hello Harmonious. A nice collection of video data with the RASA8 telescope and the ASI183 Pro camera. Nice contrast, and nice wispy/colorful nebulosity. Thanks for sharing your test results with us Harmonious, and keep up the great work.

Nice M20 image.

Were you happy with the results of the experiment?

Well framed image showing the spread of M20 capture the nebulous structure with a small stack. I have a lot to learn. In awe.
Cheers,

Tony.

Am I pleased with this scope? You betcha! Last night I used an ASI294Pro Color in place of the 183. No flats or darks, but I think I will have to make up a set.

Last night moon up, marine air moving in, windy. Only 18 useable frames in 9 minutes.
