Mac software for stacking
Hello all,
I downloaded the 45 day trail period for PixInsight - and man that's a beast. I've been looking at video's and reading about flats/blacks and lights ( which to me make no sense...it's like shooting a gray card when you want to calibrate your image inPS ?). Any who...I need more help. When I open up an image , the image has a green tint over the whole thing...I've no it's not like that but I can't seem to correct it.

Re: Mac software for stacking
Pixinsight is a beast to learn but once you've got a grasp on how it works, it is the best tool for your Mac and AP . There are other apps for stacking but they lack one feature or another that PI has.
I can give you some help with what I have learned so far. You can process without flats and darks and still get a good image.
Use the SCNR process to remove the background GREEN as you're shooting RGGB
