MaxIm DL Pro 6.21 from Diffraction Limited

Post by NoDarkSkies »

Is MaxIm DL Pro 6.21 still a product you should get and use.
I had this back in 2003-05 and paid a great deal to update to the current version.
I am not seeing any users use it here and other Forums or am I still good to go to use this Software?
Thank you

Hi,

Most folks nowadays are using either Sequence Generator Pro (SGP, $100) as the expensive title, or Astrophotography Tool (APT $22) and Backyard EOS/Nikon (BYE, BYN $50) as the lesser expensive titles. And in the free arena is N.I.N.A., it is a full-featured "astro" capture title. All four of these software titles have capabilities at least equal to Maxim DL

Cheers,

Thank you!
At least equal means I should be OK and just learn how to better use Maxim DL at least this is what I stared with.
I did get Sequence Generator Pro but it looked overwhelming the first time I started it up.

Yes, it can be. It costs $100 because it does pretty much everything except clean your toilet!

Cheers,
