I give up on Batch pre processing!

For whatever reason Both Batch Pre Processing and Weighted Batch pre processing both fail to calibrate.. badly!

ImageWBPP Results by Tom Whit, on Flickr

That's the results from a WBPP and a manual integration.

ImageManual Master by Tom Whit, on Flickr

That's the results from the same data set doing it all manually, calibrating, registration, de-mosaic, etc.

Yea the second one has some nasty gradients in it but at least the dust bunnies got taken out for the most part!

ps; Identical data and calibration files. No processing applied other than a stretch to either image.

Tom,
Did you try posting this on PI forum? I'd be curious to see what the experts say on this.

Personal equipment: TEC 140 F7 on Astro-Physics Mach 1 mount. Camera QSI 683ws7. Guide with Vario guiding scope
Shared equipment through Star Shadows Remote Observatory through PROMPT/ CTIO/Chile 16" RCOS 16803 chip
Shared equipment through San Diego Astronomy Society 14" RC with 16803 chip on a paramount

Yea I did and got the usual 'working as intended' answer.

I have however moved past this and still use the WBPP with little issue. Was just something about that data set that did not work well. Also those big motes refused to be processed out. PI thinks it was signal. But I have fixed that too.
