hey guys crazy request here but I'm looking to process your data so I can become a better processor through pixinsight. if you have any stacked images that you don't mind sharing Ill gladly process to better my skills thank you for taking the time to read this.

There was a thread on another forum "Processing Challenge" or something where someone would post challenging data for everyone to have a go at.

Might not be a bad idea to start somethin like that here.

But I might mention that creating the stacked image is at least half the challenge of producing good results

head to hubble's legacy archive website they have a lot of free data of all the famous targets it has imaged, it takes awhile to understand the directories .

i think you want he wfpc2 data or wfc3 ( wide field camera) if you click on "more" on a image set it should show a list of files, i think the number ie xxxxxx_flc.fits where xxxxxx corresponds to the type of filter used, there is a chart somewhere for the filters

edit: the list looks like this. has a name , wheel position. a notes which list ha, nii, oiii, uv filter ectt , with band pass and more data

Its raw data as opposed to stacked but it is first class data to use to practice and develop your skills. Its great because it has copies of final processed images so you can judge how well you are progressing.

You'll need to stack it first so download the free deep sky sacker here ...http://deepskystacker.free.fr/english/download.htm and take it from first principles.
