What causes the issue seen in this?

Can anyone tell me what went wrong with the left side of the image? 45 subs, 20 Flat, 20 Dark, 20 Dark Flat, 10 Bias

I have a set of data from another image taken the same night that the anomaly doesn't appear to be there

I sometimes see artifacts like that if a bright light source (like the Moon) is within about 45 degrees of where I’m looking.

That would be Barksdale Air Force Base, about 20 degrees to the left of M 45 location. The Moon had already set by then. Thank you.
