Pixinsight has a Script (CorrectMagentaStars) that removes the magenta around SHO stars and it does a good job. However, if also removes ANY other magenta in the image. If you only want to remove the magenta from the stars then this tutorial will show you how to do that. The tutorial can be viewed at the link below:
