Shootig Globs?. RGB or LRGB?

#1

Post by starfield »

With glob season approaching, I'm curious how you all approach shooting globs with a monochrome camera. For galaxies I was trying to split my total integration time 50/50 between Lum and combined RGB. Since clusters are so bright, I wondering how much Lum I need? Curious how you are approach these fun targets.

Very interested in hearing other people's opinions on this subject as well. I've usually done about 50% Lum vs individual RGB channels. So that means 30 minutes of Luminance to 1 hour of each color.
Not sure if that's the best way to go, just what I've always done.
