Mosaic Compilation

I'm going to give creating a mosaic a bash.. Image capture side of things seems to be ok... Hoping to capture a few test frames tonight which covers the Cygnus loop.

Microsoft ICE seems to be a popular (and free) tool to stitch the frames together, but i am also reading that Pixinsight can also create mosaics.

Anyone got experience with the PI process or are the results just as good using ICE?

I use the Gradient Merge Mosaic tool in PI. I have not tried ICE, but have seen very nice images done with it.
