No Solar Scope... No Problem!

The better-half has convinced me that we need to drive to Arizona this morning. I'm gonna be gone by the time the sun reaches a decent height, but there is a nice little prom showing up on the NSO/GONG H-Alpha site coming out of the telescope in El Teide, Spain this morning. http://halpha.nso.edu/

So, what's a guy to do? Why, pull the single-frame off the telescope in Spain and practice processing a bit.

A little tweaking and cropping in Photoshop yielded this...

Agreed, it's not much, but this method can give a guy some practice.
