OB Orientation

Post by Gulf Coast Guy »

If you had to give up observing in one direction N,S,E,W.. but had to pick one which one.
For example if views would be fine NS but you'd lose E or W which way would you go? Not a real question yet but it may become one.

I would definitely give up my West aspect first and be happy to loose the LP dome of London and Tilbury docks!

Choose NS, everything in the sky will pass by one time or another if you can see from the pole to the southern horizon.

Yup, my first blush pick, too. It also will give a good view of the north for polar alignment ( I use SharpCap).

Got my mind grinding away on a plan for a powered roll away Shed https://www.homedepot.com/p/Suncast-Vis ... /302345906
