Re: Gemma Observatory
Yes. I also liked the "Flying over the observatory" effect, most likely shot from a drone hovering over the observatory and the surrounding hills. Come to think of it it would be nice to build an observatory with attached living quarters, where the primary function of the structure is observing, but one can also live in a real cool living space. Form and function then would be combined.

Re: Gemma Observatory
Hello Michael. Thanks for this great video on the Gemma Observatory. Very nice architectural design and craftsmanship here. I want one now. And, I also like the appended observing deck. I was thinking some day of a simple roll off roof observatory until I saw this amazing video. That would be great for having a mini star party. Thanks again Michael for sharing video this with us on here Michael, and the best of regards.

Re: Gemma Observatory
Thanks Marshall. I'm thinking of constructing a house/observatory in the future when I finally move to a dark sky location - which will be several years from now. This one certainly has provided some inspiration.Makuser wrote: ↑Fri Dec 06, 2019 4:26 pm Hello Michael. Thanks for this great video on the Gemma Observatory.
