I am not sure if the review section is the right place for this commentary but if it needs to be moved I hope the moderators will take care of that.

The point is I have had a wonderful experience just this morning with the folks at Explore Scientific. I have Had a problem with the clamping screws on the focus draw tube clamp. I was searching to find a new clamping device and called Explore Scientific. They knew exactly what I was talking about and immediately offered to send me a new one. They're also going to send me a new one for my 2 1/2 inch tube on the 127 which I messed up all by my self. 😊

This was an immediate and wonderful response.
They're having me pay only for the Shipping.

I could not ask for a better service and congenial transaction.

Thank you to the Explore Scientific Team !

So far so good, they paid for shipping from Hawaii to them and will pay for the shipping back to me. It ain't cheap shipping to/from this very isolated island!

That's awesome, Mark (and JT)!

Scott, Kent, and the gang are first-rate folks and it's always a pleasure to stop by there and talk shop. :)

I emailed them about an adapter plate for my TW 1 - no response. No problem since it turned out I don't need it, but it sort of turned me off to buying anything else from them. But maybe that's petty of me...

They were helpful to me in the assembly of my Twilight II mount. But not as helpful as Bryan, who posted pictures of each step of the assembly as I couldn't figure out that the main support column had to be flipped upside down for installation. Doh.
