Hi guys - I am very interested in widening my field (and speeding up) my 102CF, does anyone have any experience of using the Starizona Apex 0.65x reducer on it please?

This is the reducer: https://starizona.com/store/featured/ap ... -telecopes

It's a lot of money to take a chance on it really!
thanks

Having seen someone use this combo on Astrobin I've taken the plunge and ordered this flattener (along with the adapter) - hopefully it'll be a great idea and not a terrible mistake ;-) I am pretty sure the former!

Really nice FF/FR Munkster!

I have an ES ED102 and recently added a Stellarview 0.8 FF/FR and I loved it with my apsc dslr. Now that I’ve moved to an ASI 533, with it’s small sensor, the FR is almost essential.

Like you, I really like fov, but now I’m dealing with a much smaller one. Love the camera though and now I can go after “smaller” targets.

Enjoy your new equipment!

Well, I took the plunge and am happily using the Apex flattener. Love it. Here's my M31 I did with it, four hours of subs in Bortle 6...
