M101 (Pinwheel Galaxy)
I tripped in the dark after setup and managed to fall over a large landscape boulder and bang into the corner of a cement block wall - OUCH!! My sweetie wasn't happy!!! A little sore this morning, but, OK. Don't want to do that again!!!!!!! I didn't realize that AP was so dangerous
Cheers,
Steve

Thanks Graeme - As a result of the tumble I've instituted a new procedure for setup (and takedown).
1. Turn on the outside lights (front or backyard).
2. Perform all setup with outside lights on ON.
3. Start image taking with outside lights still ON!!!
4. Go into the house and turn off outside lights.
I reverse the process for takedown. I may lose a couple of images at the beginning and the end, but, a small price to pay for not taking another tumble!!! We are about to go on a cruise to Alaska and I almost messed that up!! Being 83 you would think I should have realized I need to be more careful

Ha ha ha! My Sweetie wasn't happy about me being out there in the dark with the AP setup before I tripped and fell. Needless to say, she is even more concerned about it now. However, my new approach with all the lights on has made her feel better about it. I'm so lucky to have someone who cares!!
Thanks for the kind words and wishes.
