Does anyone know of a source or am I just relegated to searching various for sale boards and Goodwill for parts and pieces?

Parts and accesories
I've got an ETX90-RA and it seems that the parts and accessories that were fairly well stocked just a few years ago are scarce and hard to find now. I just spent two weeks of searching to finally piece together the parts to use the back port on the 90 for astrophotography.
Does anyone know of a source or am I just relegated to searching various for sale boards and Goodwill for parts and pieces?

Re: Parts and accesories
Pretty much any astro retailer sells various t- rings or adapters for the majority of telescopes.
If you are looking for a part just ask here as someone probably knows who is selling it.

Re: Parts and accesories
This is the company I used for my Meade parts, Telescope Warehouse. The owner is Bill Vorce and he's very reliable but his inventory is hit or miss. Sometimes he has exactly what you need and at other times he doesn't.

I've been waiting on him to post some of the 1244's he said he had when I inquired about converting those 1247's back.
I might go a different direction at this point.

Re: Parts and accesories
Another site to check is Scopestuff, they have quite a bit of Meade pieces.

Re: Parts and accesories
Bill just sent me the single worm gear I need to repair a 15 year old Meade goto mount. $10 plus shipping. I always check him first for Meade parts.
Any metaphor will tear if stretched over too much reality.
