Woo hoo! Progress! IC1318
My attempts at post-processing RGB images are still complete garbage, but I plugged a SLOOH luminance file into FITS Liberator and produced this. I was about to say, "Chuck it" and just archive PNGs from SLOOH, but this gives me some hope I might be able to do something with this stuff. Had to convert it from a TIFF to a JPEG to post. Small steps!

One of the slooh users wrote a script file for Pixinsight that i use and make it easy to process LRGB files, but PI is very expensive.
a more entry level program is Nebulosity 4.0 I used that until I gotPI , it makes it very easy to process filts files. There are also StarTools (ST) and AstroPixelProcessor (APP )
Nebulosity probably has the easiest learning curve.
