Sh2-116 (Abell 71, DWB 188, Simeis 76 and others) is a planetary nebula and/or a HII region, depending on the catalog, located approximately 2,377 light-years away in Cygnus.

Ha – 28x1800s – 840 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 12:8:10x300s – 60:40:50 minutes each – binned 2x2

990 minutes total exposure – 16 hours 30 minutes

Imaged over thirteen nights in April, May and June , 2021 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
