Arp 107 consists of UGC 5984 (PGC 32620, VV 233/a and others) the spiral and MCG+05-26-025 (PGC 32628, VV 233b and others), an elliptical above and to the left (east). Part of Arp’s “Elliptical or Elliptical like galaxy - Connected to a spiral” class, both of these are located approximately 465 million light-years away in Leo Minor.

Luminance – 24x600s – 240 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2

360 minutes total exposure – 6 hours

Imaged April 1st, 2nd and 3rd, 2021 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
