NGC 300 (PGC 3238, ESO 295-20, Caldwell 70 and others) is a spiral galaxy located approximately 6.6 million light-years away in Sculptor.

Luminance – 7x600s – 70 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 4:3:4x600s – 40:30:40 minutes each – binned 1x1

180 minutes total exposure – 3 hours

Imaged August 14th, 15th and 16th, 2020 at the El Sauce Observatory (Rio Hurtado, Chile) with a FLI PL 9000 on a PlaneWave CDK24 at f/6.5 3974 mm.

This is a Telescope Live (https://telescope.live/) “Pro Data Set.” This processed image won 2nd place in the for the March Pro Data Set contest.
