Nice. I’ve seen M78 visually exactly once. From a Bortle 3 site. At home I get bupkis.

Very nice image. I really like the image scale and detail. You can't beat large aperture at really dark site! Thanks for posting ...

I took a look at your image in Photoshop (solid clouds/snow since October and I'm going bonkers with no data to process) and I'm seeing a lot of faint nebulosity just waiting to be pulled out. I use tone mapping for the really faint stuff ... does Pixinsight have a similar processing technique available?

I don't know, I have only been using it a week, it has a steep learning curve
