Brett's CarbonStar Hunt - October 2021

Hello and welcome to the October 2021 Edition of "Brett's Carbon Star Hunt". I hope that everyone is having a good autumn or spring, depending on where you are!
I recently joined a local astronomy club which also has membership in the Astro League, so I picked up the AL Carbon Star Program booklet. While I have been using their list all along, it will give a little more info on the stars, etc. I also plan on, eventually, submitting for their program completion, etc. So we will see how that goes! I've already learned that not all Carbon Star's are red - this month's targets has a white one - every once in-a-while, I will throw a curve ball!
Anyway, on to the targets for this month!
HD 26 (SAO 109003) +8.2 - 8.3
Not a variable star, so nothing in the AAVSO.
From SkySafari: HD 26 is a 8th magnitude Star appearing in the constellation Pisces. It is 1091 light years from our solar system. It is a orange giant of spectral type G5:III:CH. Its surface temperature is 5050 Kelvins - 12% cooler than the Sun's - and it is 10.4 times the Sun's diameter in size. This star's total energy output, or luminosity, is 63 times the Sun's, and it has a mass of 1.1 Solar masses.
AL note: No apparent color - appears mostly white with a possible yellow tinge.
HD 223392 (SAO 128396) +8.5 - 8.8
Also not a variable.
From SkySafari: HD 223392 is a 8th magnitude Star appearing in the constellation Pisces. It is 843 light years from our solar system. It is a orange-red giant of spectral type C-R3- III C2 4 CH3.5. Its energy output is 27 times the Sun's luminosity.
AL Note: Light reddish-orange in color
CY Cyg +7.9 - 8.4
