A Very Short Introduction...
Picked up a copy of “The Sun - A Very Short Introduction”. Part of a large series on various topics by Oxford Press. It’s a survey more than text, but it’s at a little deeper level than popular books. Not much math, but mentions MHD for example.
It’s pocket-sized with rather fine print, so you’ll need your readers.
I ordered a copy of “Stars” and “Ancient Egypt” to see what those are like. There’s also cosmology, galaxies, and QM among others.

I drink tea, I read books, I look at stars when I'm not cursing clouds. It's what I do.
