Beginner's Star Atlas v.2

Post by kt4hx »

Just wanted to let folks know about a whole sky atlas that is free to download and print as needed or wanted. It plots stars to the 7th magnitude and contains a decent sampling of DSOs It comes from Russian amateur E.V. Vazhorov, who is a professional web designer by trade. The author has also included a catalogue of the DSOs plotted in his 16 page (A4) atlas. The atlas is very reminiscent of the style of Wil Tirion.

You can download both pdf documents at the below link. Hopefully someone will find it useful. Being the atlaholic that I am, I enjoy running across these kind of efforts. Granted while I personally don't have a need for this atlas in the field as I have an abundance of resources, I always enjoy sharing such finds with you all in the event it might prove useful for someone.
