Took a gamble on this Celestron (made by Vixen) Giant 20x80 binos. I am big fan of older Japanese optics and they don't come out for sale too often....

I have a pair of good quality 15x70 binos, which are light enough to do brief sessions handheld, and for longer sessions work nicely on a monopod....

The Angle of View in the screenshot is the true field. It is 7.5°.

If the magnification is 7x, the apparent field of view is 7 x 7.5° = 52.5°...
