VROD

9-5-2023 TSS Visual Report of the Day.

by helicon

"A Double Header in the Light of the Moon"

Taking advantage of clear skies even thought the moon was a bit prominent, unitron48 (Dave) and friends were able to get out using his friend's new observatory mounted 12" scope and Dave's 127mm Stellarvue.

With a nice run of summer objects - clusters, nebulae, double stars and Saturn, it was a successful evening and a reminder to all that the sights of summer are still there to behold for a few more weeks. So a quick reminder to get out there when you can. Congratulations Dave on the neat report and on winning the VROD for the day!
