by helicon

"A small race against the clock, from GRS to ET.

While on holiday, team member John Baars managed a binocular observation of M81 and M82 through his 15 x 70 pair. Returning home, taking his grab-and-go 102 Mak, he proceeded to see both Jupiter (including the great red spot) and Saturn, with Cassini's division revealed, along with several open clusters near Altair including the Tweedledum Cluster NGC 6633.Follow along with his other observations and view his excellent sketches - congrats John on winning the TSS VROD for the day!
