"Fine Night at Anza and my 3000th DSO"

Getting a chance to head back to Anza for an evening of moon-free observing, bigzmey (Andrey) set up and spent a couple of hours observing galaxies in Aquila, Pegasus, and Andromeda. As Andrey notes, Aquila, the summer eagle constellation is usually thought as a destination for clusters, star clouds, and emission nebulae. But a wide variety of galaxies are observable with folks who have access to dark skies and good-sized instruments.

Next he tamed Pegasus, and even was able to resolve the multiple members of Stephan's Quintet, often thought to require 12" of aperture, not 9.25."

Moving on to Andromeda, he hunted down 7 faint galaxies, eschewing the showy M31. What a great night, and even better, he reached the 3000 DSO observed plateau, which is quite an accomplishment. Congratulations Andrey on winning the VROD for the day!
