9-20-2022 TSS Visual Report of the Day.

"Good Skies and Good Company at Congaree"

Today's featured report is courtesy of Ragilmer (Rob) who headed out to Congaree National Park with his friend Jim, taking along his new AD10 and Jim hauling his XT6. Since the skies are Bortle 3 there are many objects visible at that low level of light pollution. Focusing mainly on Sagittarius, Rob observed clusters and nebulae visiting many that he previously had seen through his old 6" scope. Given the difference in light grasp and resolving power the views were much enhanced. Follow along as he describes what he saw. Congratulations on the new scope Rob and also on winning the VROD for the day!
