9-14-2021 TSS Visual Report of the Day.

"What a few clear nights can achieve"

Today we feature a report dating back to 9-13-2020 by Greenman (Tony). Follow along as he completes observations of M31 as well as M81 and M82 after getting his scope polar aligned. Next, he turned his attention to Mars, which as we recall was near opposition. Then while imaging Mars he noticed that the collimation was off. The first attempt at adjusting the screws was unsuccessful. Returning with a can of WD-40 was just the trick, as the screws could now be moved. After about 45 minutes the collimation was spot on. So a bit of persistence paid off. Congratulations Tony on winning the VROD for the day!
