8-19-2021 TSS Visual Report of the Day.

by helicon

"Dark Site? Check. Messier 33? Check!"

Today we feature a report dating back to August 27th, 2020. Pakarinen (Olen) was able to take advantage of a dark sky site and conducted a successful observation of Messier 33, the Triangulum Galaxy through his ST80. Believe it or not, M33 is readily observable in smaller apertures and binoculars if you can get away from the light pollution that plagues the skies for many of us. Now that the Fall showpieces are coming up for those willing to stay up late or get up early it's an opportune time to see them before the nights get chilly. Congrats Olen on winning the TSS Visual Report of the Day!
