VROD

7-26-2022 TSS Visual Report of the Day.

"Observing Report for 21 July 2022 - a bit challenging, but back on track!"

What do you do when the sky is mostly clear, but not pristine and when the Milky Way which normally regales folks in dark sky locations, is not so impressive?

You can either brave the conditions or decide to pack it in for the evening. KT4HX (Alan) chose the former and was able to still pull off a very productive and long session amidst the galaxies of Libra, Aquila, and Delphinus. It helps to be able to discern a faint fuzzy from a dim and hazy star which on occasion can be mistaken for galactic nuclei. Congratulations Alan on achieving the VROD for the day!
