"Bootes and Pegasus Galaxies"

We have already reached the 20th of this month, seemingly summer is half over. Taking advantage of a break in the desert monsoon weather, which appears to have arrived early this year, bigzmey (Andrey) headed out to Anza for a galactic session.

Focusing on faint island universes in Bootes and Pegasus, he stuck with those of magnitude 12.9 or fainter, requiring dark skies and plenty of aperture. In this case, one could say that he was pushing his 9.25" Edge to the limits of its performance capability. Succesful in most cases but not afraid to fail with his fleeting targets, he completed a great two-part session - congratulations Andrey on winning the VROD for the day!
