7-11-2023 TSS Visual Report of the Day.

"An asteroid, a comet, a supernova, and other goodies"

Observing from his dark sky spot in Anza in SoCal bigzmey (Andrey) was able to view a wide variety of objects in his most recent session. Among them he observed a comet in Ursa Minor, and moving on the supernova in M101 in spite of the fact that the parts of the disk of the galaxy had faded a bit into the sky background, easier than the disk as he was searching for dot of light.

He then viewed an asteroid followed by galaxies in Ursa Major, Canes Venatici, and Bootes, a globular cluster (M75) in Sagittarius, and then back to Bootes when the moon rose for a haul of double and multiple star systems. Once again, a session which would be hard for most folks to duplicate in the span of a couple of hours and congratulations Andrey on the VROD award for the day!
