"Observing Report for 06 June 2022 - a little back yard binocular romp"

One of the great things about the late Spring is the warmer air and oftentimes clear skies. As a result, one need not always use a telescope to enjoy the heavens - binoculars will do just fine and often give a new perspective on objects that are familiar at the eyepiece. In this case, KT4HX (Alan) took a tour of classic bino objects from his backyard where he has Bortle 5 skies. Focusing particularly on globulars, he managed to reel in M13, M92, M4 and many others. Puffballs to be sure but rewarding to find in 50mm binoculars. See if you can follow along in his footsteps by catching these late Spring/Summer objects. Congratulations Alan on winning the VROD for the day!
