6-4-2022 TSS Visual Report of the Day.

by helicon

"Observing report for 31 May 2022 - a second night of looking high and low"

Today's featured report from KT4HX (Alan) adds on to and expands the quest from his other evening, with a wide array of galaxies observed both in the northern and southern hemispheres. Just some of the constellations include Canes Venatici, Virgo, Hydra, Corvus, and most imoressively Centaurus. As many know, it does not appear favorably for most of the U.S. except for the extreme southern latitudes, even then it is very low in the sky, so its riches including Omega Centauri and Centaurus A are washed out or invisible. In spite of this, Alan picked off a wide oollection of galaxies in the more northerly locales of the Constellation. Congratulations Alan on winning the VROD for the day!
