6-30-2023 TSS Visual Report of the Day.

"Asteroids and Draco galaxies"

For the last day of June we honor a superb report from Bigzmey (Andrey) on an Anza dark sky session consisting of both a successful haul of asteroids, including some very small and faint examples, all of which though might be considered planet wreckers if any of them collided with earth, a sobering thought - and galaxies.

Turning to the constellation Draco, he observed a plethora of island universes fainter than magnitude 12 with his Edge 9.25" SCT, including a very small (30 arc second) example at magnitude 14.1 requiring 234x. Congratulations on the successful night Andrey and on winning the VROD for today!
