Today's featured report concerns an outreach session held by Astrobee (Greg) in the mountains near Las Vegas with a girls' summer camp. Finding out from a friend that they were holding a star party he jumped at the chance to get out of the hot valley and enjoy some cooler temperatures, in fact in the low 50's F in the evening.

Mostly the viewers were impressed by the "half" moon, which as he corrected them, is actually the first quarter. Nevertheless they enjoyed views of the terminator which brought up reference to the Schwarzenegger movies. Later on he spent some time outlining the constellations with a laser pointer. All in all an interesting visual session with the chance to maybe make some converts to amateur astronomy.
