6-14-2022 TSS Visual Report of the Day.

"Evening in Lyra"

Today's featured report is an excursion in Lyra coinciding with a bright and moonlit evening. While some would not venture out to confront the evil orb, others are willing to take what nature gives them, that is double stars. Follow along as bigzmey (Andrey) describes his night with the double stars in Lyra, and also relates his story of communing with nature, all from his Bortle 4 desert location in Southern California. Observing the wonders that occur in Orpheus' instrument placed in the heavens by Zeus is definitely rewarding. Lyra was one of the original constellations dating back to its designation by Claudius Ptolemy. Congratulations Andrey on winning the VROD for the day!
