"M94 and a Red Carbon star."

Today we feature a report from an early Spring evening this year, now that we are one week from the official start of summer. John Baars using his 120 ED Evostar doublet tracks down galaxies in Leo and Canes Venatici with some good advice for urban/suburban astronomers. Lastly he describes an impressive carbon star. Leo is still visible in the West at nightfall, so there is still an opportunity to view these sights before they go away for the season. Congratulations John on winning the VROD and also for the fine sketches included in your report.
