"Observing Report for 05/01/2023"

Today's featured report concerns double star observing in Corona Borealis, Scorpius, and Hercules by jrkirkham (Rob) who had to brave high winds before his session started back on May 1st. Using a friend's 102mm f/9.8 Celestron refractor he completed the observations of Zeta Corona Borealis, Xi Scorpii, Struve 1999, Beta Scorpii, and Kappa Herculis.

He also managed some looks at the moon and M13, which is hard to ignore when it is rising high in the Keystone. Congrats on the new report Rob and on winning the VROD for 5/4/2023!
