"Observing Report for 21 May 2023 - Smoke gets in your Eyes"

With a delightful session in Virgo and Coma Berenices picking up galaxies and as far afield as Hercules, in fact, Alan (KT4HX) has swooped up a plethora of the faint denizens with his 17.5" scope. To top it off he observed THREE supernovae, the bright magnitude 10.8 example in Messier 101 and two fainter examples in Virgo. There are not many evenings where one can accomplish this feat. Congratulations Alan on achieving the VROD for your labours, comparable in fact, to the Seven Labours of Hercules!
