"Lunar Check"

The Lunar X and V are transient Clair Obscur effects which are visible on the lunar surface once a month for about four hours. The lunar phase illumination during which they can be seen during 2021 varies between 41% and 55% illuminated...

Today we recognize unitron48's (Dave) attempt to observe the Lunar X and V through his 4" f/15 classic Unitron refractor on Tuesday evening. The phenomenon was set to appear at 7:41 and he was able to see it. Congrats on the observation Dave through such a fine instrument, and also on winning the VROD for today.
