5-19-2021 TSS Visual Report of the Day.

by helicon

"Another of those grabngo evenings, experimenting and M13"

Today we feature a very interesting report from John Baars in which he attempts to locate objects prior to actual darkness, when even bright stars like Arcturus are not yet visible. Yet, with careful use of positioning, it is possible to see targets in the fading light through a telescope even when they are invisible with the naked eye. Follow along as he describes the process, and even is able to see deep sky objects earlier than normal. Congratulations John on winning the VROD for today.
