"Fourcade-Figueroa galaxy shred, NGC 5237 and Centaurus A"

Southern Delights - member NGC 1365 (Ivan) put his 18" Dobsonian to good use in tracking down the giant Centaurus A - 25.7 x 20 arc minutes across, NGC 5237 and the Fourcade-Figueroa galaxy shred. NGC5237 may be a remnant of a spiral galaxy that came too close to Centaurus A and was ripped apart. Follow along as he describes his observations.
