"Cor Caroli and a couple more"

Do you know what Cor Caroli refers to in Latin? Well, the answer is "Heart of Charles" referring to King Charles the 1st of England who unfortunately was beheaded in 1649. Nevertheless it is an interesting double star with a separation of 19.2 arc seconds. Follow along as JRKirkham (Rob) nabs three double stars over the course of an evening, not only Cor Caroli but also Porrima and Struve 1694. With the moon somewhat prominent right now, double stars are one of the go to targets that observers can still enjoy. Congratulations Rob on winning the VROD for the day!
