VROD

3-21-2022 TSS Visual Report of the Day.

by helicon

"Moonlit wanderings"

In spite of the prominent moonshine, Dave Sellars enjoyed two fine sessions on Friday and Saturday evenings with his 12" Dob. The views included M42, M36, M37, M38 and NGC 1893 (open cluster) followed by the moon itself. On Saturday, the observations included the Double Cluster, M1 (Crab Nebula), and NGC 2093 (galaxy in Leo). He also noted the excellent transparency on both nights which assisted in the successful observations. Congratulations Dave on winning the TSS VROD for the day!
