"Canis Major Observations"

What can one see in the Big Dog this winter? The answer is some impressive pairs of double stars and numerous open clusters, as well as the bright star Sirius and its companion. Follow along as The Wave Catcher describes his observations in the constellation using a 102 mm ED scope. If you haven't ventured into Canis Major this season then it would be a good time to do so before it sinks too low in the sky. Congratulations Steve on achieving the VROD for the day!
