"Observing Report for 20 February 2022 - crabbing"

Today we feature an outstanding report from team member KT4HX (Alan) who spent an evening exploring Cancer, the heavenly Crab, one of the constellations of the zodiac but better known by astronomers for two Messier objects, M44 the Praesape or Beehive cluster also the open cluster M67. Cancer is also a haven for galaxies, with numerous targets visible in medium and large size amateur scopes under drak skies. Follow along as Alan pulls in galaxy after galaxy with his 17.5" Dob, seeing the photons which collectively have traveled for hundreds of millions of years before reaching the retina of the observer. Closing out the session with M35 and NGC 2158, he packed up and called it a night . Congratulations Alan on winning he TSS VROD for the day!
