"Another Comet 2022ZTF Sighting"

Both sdbodin (Steve) and I (helicon) saw the comet through 4" scopes. In Steve's case through a wide field RFT and in my case through an f/10 refractor. My purpose was mainly to find the comet without any real expectations as to its appearance and brightness, and I was hoping to do a bit of outreach with neighbors one of whom saw the comet. Mission accomplished.

In Steve's case he noticed that the comet, despite the media hype was sort of underwhelming. It may become a naked eye object here shortly before it heads back out in its parabolic orbit not to be seen again for 55,000 years. So in this case we are giving out two TSS VROD awards, one to Steve and one to yours truly. Thanks for the nominations folks.
